Perpetra keeps a running tally of activity for every user, points earned from trading, depositing, and referring other people to the platform. This isn’t a token, nothing is minted or claimed right now, it’s simply a record of activity that can be used as the basis for future rewards.

How points are earned

Both trading and depositing earn points, based on the USD value involved. Trading points are earned on both sides of a trade, opening a position and later closing it both count. Deposit points are earned at a different rate from trading points, and both rates can be adjusted going forward as the program evolves.

Referrals

You can be referred by exactly one other user, set once and permanent, it can’t be changed afterward and you can’t refer yourself. Perpetra also blocks a very specific loophole: a referral loop where two accounts end up referring each other in a circle. Once a referral relationship is set, your referrer automatically earns a share of the points you go on to earn, from both trading and depositing, for as long as you’re active. This isn’t a one-time bonus for signing someone up, it’s an ongoing share of their future activity.

What this data is used for

Right now this is purely a scoreboard, your total points and referral activity are visible and trackable, but nothing is distributed or claimable yet. It exists to build an accurate record of activity ahead of however rewards eventually get distributed.
